30% Remote work

The Moscow Mayor signed a Decree ordering companies to transfer at least 30% of their employees to remote work.

Please be informed that starting from October 5 to October 28, 2020 employers are obliged to transfer to remote working mode not less than 30 % of their employees, as well as all employees over 65 years old and those with chronic diseases.

From October 12 employers shall submit weekly information about their employees (or executors under civil law contracts) transferred to remote work to the Moscow Government. In addition to the number of transferred employees, their mobile phone and car license plate have to be reported (Decree of the Mayor of Moscow dd October 6, 2020 № 97-UM).

Non-compliance can lead to a fine of up to 300.000 rubles (appr. 3,275 euro)
